Reports have been coming in that a civil war era ship has been seen on Lake Lanier. This seems odd for since the lake was only created in 1956. The CSS Alabama, a screw sloop-of-war, as witness have reported, can be spotted simply floating in the lake in various places. No one has been able to approach the ship, and visitors say that only when the moon is right in the night sky can you see just the faintest trace of the steam powered ship.
Any time someone tries to get near it, the ship vanishes. However, there is a song in the air near it. A shanties of sorts. People that have heard the song note that the song designates the name, “Danny”. { https://youtu.be/w3DSPUHzUfc }
